I’ve been known to post the occasional short story. Sometimes I work really hard and try to polish them up before I share them. Other times I make them up as I go and post them without much proofreading. Whatever the case, they are here for your enjoyment.

The Afflicted – In the Kingdom of Spyridon, all citizens have the power to miraculously heal wounds and disease. Shin, a new arrival, finds himself in the middle of a theological conflict between those who seek to help others with their power, and those who see illness and association with the afflicted as a sign of sin.

Legends of Elyria – I wrote a fantasy novel for NaNoWriMo 2008. When I finished, I realized it needed a much more robust history and folklore collection, so I started writing short stories from that world’s past. The novel is going to need to be completely rewritten, but thanks to this exercise I’m starting to build a really nice framework.
